Café ERA

The functionalist café Era was built between 1928 and 1929 according to the design of architect Josef Kranz;

In 1959 it was nationalized and used as a beer hall.

Experts compare the Era Café to the famous Villa Tugendhat.

In 2011 it welcomed guests again after fifty years, following a complete renovation with an emphasis on preserving the original appearance as much as possible.
