Iconic chair by Jean Prouvé.
Prouvé based his designs on practicality, designing durable furniture without unnecessary frills.
When designing the minimalist Standard chair, he took into account that the rear legs are the most stressed in chairs, which he had made of distinctive hollow steel profiles, while steel tubes were used for the front.
The seat and backrest are plastic in this version.
