The Oksen™ chair is one of Arne Jacobsen's greatest and most distinctive designs.
He was inspired by the American types of chairs he had the opportunity to see in the USA.
Translated from Danish, Oksen means "bull", reflecting its characteristics - big, bold, strong, as it stood out with its sharp and robust features compared to previous organic and rounded shapes.
The final form of the chair took shape between 1962 and 1966 and saw its reintroduction in 2017.
