Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt explains: "Decorations don't have to be limited to items you hang on the wall, but can also form an integral part of more functional objects such as a table or lamp. This creates new and exciting possibilities. When you stand closer to the Bau, the tight geometric lines are broken. The kind of experience I want people to have is to see the Bau lamp and wonder what it looks like from the other side. It needs to appeal to people's senses and spark curiosity. The lamp comes without a light source.
