Cassina was founded in 1927 by Cesare and Umberto Cassina in Meda, Italy. It has grown into one of the most important manufacturers of premium quality designer furniture in the world. Since 1964, it has owned the rights to produce modern design icons by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand. Products are part of permanent collections around the world, such as the Museum of Modern Art (New York), the Vitra Design Museum (Weil am Rhein) and the London Design Museum.
